My Husband is Awesome!!!!!

As many times as I have called my husband un-romantic and unable to pull off surprises, he really got me tonight! In the past my husband has been concerned that he wouldn't be able to get me a gift that I would approve of. And to his credit, he has given me a couple of gifts that I was not a huge fan of! Anyway, enough of the negative gift-giving abilities of Sammy, I should tell you of the amazing gift that I received tonight. Even though my 30th birthday is 3 weeks away, Sam wanted to make sure that I was able to enjoy my new gift on our trip next week.

I present to you a 2-D version of the best gift ever!! A new camera! A Canon PowerShot SD600 Digital Elph!!!

The best part - well, it's three-fold.

1. I was completely surprised!
2. It wasn't a hand-me-down gift!
3. This is the best gift that I have ever received (2nd only to my engagement ring).

It's exactly what I wanted and never imagined that he would get me.

Once we charged the battery, I couldn't wait to get started snapping pictures. Behold a few pics of the family:

Sam, Blue and Lucky! This camera rocks!

My husband is awesome!!! He's the best husband in the world! Stay tuned for many many pictures from our Vegas trip next week!! (Sorry for all the exclamation points - I'm just sooo damn excited!!!)

My comments keep getting deleted or won't post :(

I see Sam is still wearing the fiesta shirt (I forget what its really called)

And I love my hand-me-around cameras. Guess I have no more excuses for not keeping better photo journals of my kiddos for you.

BTW-Grampa Stewart is getting me the manuals for both so I can figure out how to use those cameras.

Happy Hannuka
Love yas

Excitement and exclamation points are good things. And, BTW--Sam has an awesome wife too.
